Taking part in your first MUN conference can be a daunting experience. To make it easier, the OxfordMUN 2020 committee have put together a list of the 5 most common mistakes made by first-time delegates.
Hello! Our names are Terry, Victoria, and Rebecca, and we are the USG for Content team for Oxford Global. What have we been up to recently? Well… we are hard at work preparing for the fall conference! As the USGs for Content, we are in charge of conference materials, like the Delegate Handbook and the Conference Booklet. Currently, we are in the process of editing the many Background Guides for the conference, written by members of our lovely Secretariat and wonderful Oxford Global community. We also selected the committees and topics for the conference.
Hi everyone, we’re Charlotte and Gustė, and together we’re the Under-Secretary-Generals for Delegates. It’s our job to manage and shape the delegate experience at the conference, ensuring that delegates have the best time possible at OxfordMUN 2025. Our responsibilities include sourcing and booking keynote and committee speakers for the conference, assistant director recruitment, and organising ‘Delegate Delights’ (stay tuned!). Here is a bit more about us!
A fundamental part of being a representative at the United Nations (and, thus, at a MUN Conference) is an awareness of global events. Given that the theme of OxfordMUN 2025 is ‘The Spirit of Inquiry’, we think it is important to stay inquisitive about international news. From June, we will discuss three articles, with related questions to allow you to inquire about what is going on worldwide.
We’re Tomi, Seng Junn, and Abhipsa, and the three of us are the Under-Secretary-Generals for Business at Oxford Global. We help run the Oxford Global social media accounts, engaging with students in the run up to the OxfordMUN 2025 Home Conference and giving you a taste of the behind-the-scenes. We also work on innovating the conference, making it more sustainable and coming up with opportunities to improve the conference experience.
Hi everyone, we’re the logistics team. It’s our job to plan the nitty-gritty of the conference and make sure everything runs smoothly. Our duties range from chair recruitment and venue booking to schedule building and volunteer organisation. Let’s introduce ourselves so you can get to know us a bit better.
Our shelves only hold tools and some of the finest cuts of suede, wool, and cotton, because each order is stitched one at a time and tailored completely to the look and feel that our customers value most. Therefore, we have a waiting time for most of our products. Payment secures your reservation, and we will be in touch within 24 hours to arrange a measurement appointment and a meeting to discuss the details of your desired product. Below are our current waiting times for each item after measurement.
At the moment we only ship within the United Kingdom, with in-person fittings only available in Oxford. Other clients are encouraged to contact us to receive our self-measurement guide, which includes a re-fitting guarantee and a discussion about your requirements. We are happy to add new shipping options depending on where you are.
